This page has two parts. The first explains where to turn for anything to do with playing golf at Rancho San Marcos. The second explains how to send a correction or suggestion to the editors of this guide.
Questions for the golf course
The guide is an independent publication about the course, and it has no access to the tee sheet, the pro shop or the event calendar. Messages sent through this page cannot reserve a time, change a booking or pass a request to the staff. For all of that, contact the course directly. The course publishes its own details on the course's official website, and as listed there:
| Detail | As listed by the course |
|---|---|
| Address | 4600 CA-154, Santa Barbara, CA 93105 |
| Pro shop | (805) 683-6334 |
| Days and hours | Wednesday to Sunday, 7 am to 4 pm |
The course is the right place for:
- tee times, cancellations and group bookings
- tournaments, corporate golf days and weddings, which the course handles through its own contact form
- lost property and anything that happened during a round
- current prices and any special offers
Prices and opening days change from time to time. The green fees page shows the figures as listed in October 2026, but the course’s own answer is the one that counts.
Corrections and suggestions for this guide
The editors want this guide to be accurate. A message is welcome when:
- a price, opening day or phone number on the site no longer matches what the course lists
- a hole description on the course tour or a figure on the scorecard looks wrong
- a date or name in the history of the ranch and course can be corrected or better sourced
- a nearby course is missing from the Santa Barbara golf courses guide
Write to the editors at [email protected]. A link to the page in question and, where possible, a source for the correct information make a fix much quicker. The editors check every message, although not every message receives a personal reply, and changes are made only after the new information has been verified.
What to include in a message
A short, specific message works best. Helpful details are:
- the address of the page on this site
- the sentence or figure that needs attention
- the correct information and where it comes from, for example the course’s own rate sheet or a local news report
- an email address, only if a reply is wanted
Please do not send card numbers, booking references or other personal details. This guide cannot use them, and they are better kept between a player and the course.
How messages are handled
Messages sent to that address are used only to read and answer the request. They are not added to a mailing list, sold or shared with the golf course or anyone else. The full details, including how long messages are kept, are on the privacy page.
